Hello All. **Waves** Look I’m on Cup O’ Porn! How cool is this! **Looks around noticing the edible men, oops sorry drool slippage** I can check off my bucket list for being a guest on COP now. So while you’re waiting for your porn to finish its upload let’s talk. Okay I’ll talk and you read. You still have time your porn download is only up to what 5% now?
Hello my name is Lara Brukz and I’m addicted to M/M romance. Can you believe there is anyone who doesn’t love this genre? Years ago before the genre blossomed I was hooked on Literotica.com. I loved reading the short gay fiction. Then came the published novels and there went my pocket book. Seriously I’d tell you about me but I don’t want to bore you. Especially since you’re still waiting on that download, 25% now huh? Hmmm…
There was a little old lady that lived in a shoe, no wait, I’m not old (I know, difference of opinions there) , don’t live in a shoe, don’t have many kids, but I don’t know what the hell to do with the one I do have.
So anyway moving on cause my brain can really ramble and my doctor is trying to fix my meds. I’m here today promoting my new release Five Star Review published by Dreamspinner Press. Tell you a little about how my book came about. Like most people I’d jump all around the Internet watching reviews and reading chats. I have this BFF, an author of gay fiction, I’d watch him joke back and forth with reviewers flirting, teasing, and laughing. Well I think I was born a natural matchmaker so in my little head I created a little interlude for him. Of course my BFF would argue that he’s not as sexy as Cade my character- phtttt-get the fuck over it you’re hot my friend. Anyways I blame it on the romances I read and somewhere, someday he will meet his own Eric in due time.
Download at 58% huh. So let’s just jump right in.
Blurb:
Gay romance author Cade Montgomery is so thrilled when his latest book is given an excellent review by Eric Carillo that he sends Eric a personal e-mail thanking him for the rating. Occasional e-mails become frequent, and soon Cade and Eric are talking online almost every day. Their online relationship spans a thousand miles, but that doesn’t mean it’s not real. Can their virtual romance survive in the real world? Because both men want to give their own romance a five star review.
Your porn download is almost there so why not fill that time in with reading an excerpt. Really you can check that facebook page later.
Excerpt:
ERIC CARILLO arrived home after attending an early movie with his best friend Kyle, flipped on his computer and fed Wanda, his bright blue betta fish. Eric loved Wanda very much. Okay, so Eric didn’t know bettas sold in the stores were usually male. However, he loved the name Wanda for a fish. And who’s to say Wanda wasn’t a transgender fish? Eric imagined that Wanda loved him, because when she saw him, she always came to the top of the water. Eric knew Wanda was after food, but it felt nice to think she was happy to see him. “You lonely, Wanda? I know how you feel. However, you don’t have much choice; you’re just too mean to have a roommate. Who would be stupid enough to put up with you? I guess we’re both destined to be alone.” He watched the fish swim around for a minute. “Perhaps I should feed myself something too,” Eric said to himself. He figured he had something left to eat in the loft. Sure enough, he found roast beef and made himself a sandwich. Eric grabbed the sandwich and a bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade and went over to his computer.
He went to the review website and checked the comments on his review of A Shot at Love by Cade Montgomery. Among the comments were a couple of readers who agreed with his review, and one who thought the book was absolutely horrible. “Can’t please everyone.” Eric took a bite of the sandwich and a drink of the lemonade and realized he had new emails.
When he opened his IncrediMail program, a sender’s name immediately caught his attention: Cade Montgomery.
When Eric saw the name, the picture on the author’s website popped into Eric’s mind. The picture showed Cade sitting outside on a large rock with Saguaro Lake behind him. Cade was barefoot, wearing faded jeans with worn holes and a plain black T-shirt. The sleeveless T-shirt showed off Cade’s more-than-decent muscles and the three-inch jaguar tattoo that crawled down Cade’s oh-so-lickable bicep. Eric wondered what it would feel like to run his hands through Cade’s stylishly spiked, brownish-blond hair. Cade had a finely trimmed goatee with a mustache. The thought of how the facial hair would feel against Eric’s shaved skin made him shiver. He ignored the feel of his pants getting tighter, pushed the sexy image out of his mind, and clicked on the e-mail.

Hey, Monk Man
Thanks again for such a good review. Not sure if I deserve it, but thanks anyway. I’m glad you enjoyed Dalton and Taylor’s love story. I think A Shot at Love is my best book yet, and I hope the readers agree. Felt like I was on pins and needles while waiting for the review.
Again, thank you and hope I’m not a bother.
Cade Montgomery
“You are indeed a bother,” Eric said to himself. “Because I am hot and bothered. Not that I’m complaining.” Eric tried to forget about what Cade looked like and tried to convince himself the photo was a fake and the author probably a straight woman. Eric loved the women who wrote gay fiction, but he hoped Cade Montgomery was one of the few gay male authors in the industry. Eric adjusted himself and wished his erection would go away. He hit the reply button on Cade’s e-mail.
CADE was sitting on his black leather couch with his laptop on his crossed legs. He was working on his latest book when the new mail sound bleeped.

Cade,
Thank you for a great read, and you can BOTHER me anytime. I really enjoyed reading A Shot at Love. I’m anxiously awaiting more books, maybe a spin off (hinting)?? No need for pins and needles, unless you like it a bit rough.
TTYL Monk
As Cade finished reading the e-mail, he wondered what Monk looked like. Was Monk older or younger than him? More or less experienced? The comments about liking it rough made Cade think Monk might be a player like himself. Cade didn’t read many books, but there were a few M/M authors he enjoyed. Ethan Stone, Marie Sexton, and Heidi Cullinan were at the top of his list, but he read all of Monk’s reviews. He thoroughly enjoyed Monk’s sexual innuendos and how he teased the authors and readers. Cade was really good at playful teasing himself and decided that if Monk could dish it out, he’d better be able to take it.

Oh, Monk, I do, on occasion, like it a bit rough. I can take the rough play but especially enjoy giving it. There is nothing like biting the back of a man’s neck as I’m buried deep in him and feeling his climax at the same time I feel mine. So freaking hot! I’m very pleased to know I can and do BOTHER you. Do you like it rough? Do you like a little pain added to the pleasure of sex? I better stop, because I am making myself… well, I’m sure you know. I really shouldn’t be sexting. (Wait, isn’t that just on phones?) Wow, sexting at my age, who would have thought? Does that mean we can trade naked pictures now too??? Catch you later. (Hmmm does everything have a sexual meaning when it pertains to you?)
Love, Cade
Well you’re probably up to 100% now on your porn download. So thanks for joining me today and enjoy that porn! When you’re done with that porn show, you can visit me at my website or my blogspot or hollar over at Facebook.

Okay…
1) Your book looks AWESOME and has been added to my Dreamspinner wishlist.
2) Glad to hear I am not the only one that started reading m/m on literotica.com. Glad I did though. The Human Condition by Jayne Finn is what made me fully embrace the m/m genre and leave m/f stories in the dust.
3) My porn download is at 100%. Gotta go.
Yay N. another Literotica reader. I remember I had felt like a lurker in the beginning when I started reading those, I didn’t know any other readers in the genre. Now though the genre has exploded.
Off to buy this one…I got to know how this one ends now! Thanks for the lovely tease.
Awww, thanks Laurie.
I read this when it came out and really enjoyed it a lot. I think everyone who reads it will walk away pleased. Definitely worth the money!
Thanks Jase!
What a nice teaser! Think I have to read this one.
Oh and I love that Beta Fish. I had such a snuggling fish friend years ago.
I’ve had one lonely little betta for at least 3 years now. My 7 year old really wants another one just so he can see them fight it out, he can be an evil little shit at times.
Yay, Lara, you made it! Oh wait, my porn’s finally done downloading. Bye!
Damn Tina, give that toy a rest already or a least some water!
dang my reading list just added another book. Loved the teaser and now it has moved up to the top of the list since I NEED to know what happens between these two.
This will probably be my M/M virgin purchase
! I just started reading erotica a year and a half ago, and it has allowed me to (slowly) break out of my shell….look out Laura, I might need to start writing a M/M book too,if only for my pleasure…..yes,it will be a little rough
.
Oh Oh popping cherries, the pressure…
Aarrgh, why did you stop? I need more and soon. Damn payday is 2 weeks away and the wallet is empty. Retirement is great but the money sucks.
Sorry Nancy, but teasing is my style
and Cade’s as well. Hint there might be a chance for a freebie coming soon.
Lara,
Literotica.com! I don’t know anyone else who has even HEARD of this website. I’m so glad to hear you started reading there too. Aaaaand now I have another book for my Wish List!
Woot! Well Heather it seems we are coming out of the closet here today!!
As a reviewer, I wish some hot and sexy (straight) author would email me and get as frisky and suggestive as Cade gets!
*big, heavy sigh*
