The folks at Lucas Entertainment sent us the press release below about their upcoming film Awake. It includes about 20 photos (some NSFW, but way below the cut), so I thought I’d save it for the weekend so you have something to keep you going until Monday’s Man Candy (he’s worth the wait, I promise).

Lucas Entertainment, the leader in gay porn epics, is proud to announce it has wrapped production on its big-budget and much-anticipated blockbuster “AWAKE”. Shot entirely on location in Mykonos, Greece the film ushers in a new level of sex and action combined with a psychological head game that will have your mind and body at the mercy of temptation.

The story follows troubled couple Jessy Ares and Jonathan Agassi as infidelity has made their relationship numb. The men escape to the Mediterranean island and try to regain emotions for each other but as soon as they arrive, a car accident leaves Jonathan in the hospital. Jessy meets local Mitchell Rock and they explore the island as Jessy is released into sexual freedom. Jessy uses Mitchell as a mirror to find out who he has become now that he is finally alone without Jonathan. But guilt and temptation start to take over reality and Jessy begins to spin into a dark illusion. It’s man against himself as he tries to escape but he has become his own game. For Jessy, the beautiful disaster begins to rise as seduction and madness collide when he opens his eyes, AWAKE.

Alongside Ares, Rock and Agassi, Awake features performances by Alex Marte, Edji Da Silva, Mathew Mason, Trenton Ducati and Adam Killian.

“Coming off of the great success that The Last Day had, I wanted to do something completely different. I didn’t want to tell another story where people were killing each other or fighting for their lives. I wanted a clean shower from the blood baths that are going on in porn movies. The Last Day explored man against the world, man against maniac. In Awake I wanted to look inward to a place we all could relate to: man against himself, “ says writer and director Marc MacNamara. “As it turns out this reflection into ourselves can get quite intense but if we open your eyes, we begin to feel everything. As men we can journey to another side of ourselves to uncover a heightened illusion of sex and passion we never knew.”

“AWAKE has been my biggest challenge in filming porn, so far,” says star Jessy Ares. “At once, all of my abilities had been tested in brand new water. It became my most exciting porn experience and the fact that two of my songs ended up in the movie, ON TOP OF IT just makes me want to scream!! YYEESSSSS!!”

“The cast and crew were pushed to our limits on this one, literally as many scenes took place on cliff’s edges,” says production manager Chris Crisco. “We shot on motorbikes, in abandoned lighthouses, a car accident downtown, in the hospital and every square inch of Mykonos in between. Not only did we come out with breathtaking results but the story and sex will amaze you.”
