I love Zach Wahls, and yes, a lot of it is because he’s an Iowan like me. Another reason is that he’s an incredible activist for marriage equality. The biggest reason, though, is that I was there when he gave his famous speech, sitting about fifty feet away. And yeah, we knew it was cool then too.
